Season's Greetings! The holidays are upon us! I hope you and your family have a joyous holiday season! Please see below for important announcements regarding the week ahead. Just a reminder, this will be the last blog post until January 5, 2014. Here's to a prosperous New Year!
- On Monday, December 16th, a permission slip will be going home regarding a movie. Mrs. Zimmer's class will be joining us for a viewing of "Arthur Christmas". This movie is rated PG for mild rude humor. Due to the PG rating, in order for your child to view this movie you must sign the permission slip that will be going home. We are planning on watching the movie on Friday, December 20th. In order to promote responsibility, a student will NOT be allowed to call home if he/she forgets to bring the signed permission slip back by Friday. Any student who does not bring the permission slip back will be given an alternative activity.
- Our class Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 19th at approximately 2:15pm. The parent committee members for this party were contacted on Friday, December 13th. You're more than welcome to join us for this party--I'm sure your child would love to have you there!
- Our class will be serving lunch this week. If you plan on taking your child to lunch please contact me and I'll let you know what day(s) will work best--according to the serving schedule.
- The last day to bring in donations for the Worland Humane Society will be on Wednesday, December 18th. Mrs. Zimmer and I hope to have the money counted and the donation made to the Humane Society by Friday, December 20th.
